What happens in the first session?
The first session is a conversation. We listen to your circumstances, explain how Thai family law applies to your situation, outline possible paths forward, and answer your questions without pressure. You'll receive a written summary afterwards.
How long does a separation process take?
It depends on whether both parties can reach agreement or whether formal proceedings are needed. Mutual separations handled cooperatively can be resolved in a matter of weeks. Contested matters may take several months. We'll give you a realistic picture at the outset.
Can you help if my spouse is not cooperating?
Yes. When cooperation is difficult, we advise on formal options available under Thai law, including court applications. We keep communication with opposing parties professional and focused on resolution where possible.
Are your fees fixed or by the hour?
Our three service packages are offered at transparent, fixed prices so you know what to expect before you begin. The Separation Guidance Session is ฿4,700, Parenting & Support Arrangements is ฿9,500, and Comprehensive Family Case Handling is ฿18,000.
Will what I share remain private?
Absolutely. All information you share with us is protected by professional confidentiality obligations. We do not discuss client matters with third parties without your consent.
Do you assist expatriates and international clients?
Yes. We regularly assist expatriates living in Chiang Mai and international clients with cross-border family matters. We work in English and can coordinate with overseas advisors where needed.
